05:49 PM EDT, 07/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gatos Silver ( GATO ) said Tuesday its Q2 silver equivalent production at the Cerro Los Gatos mine in Mexico totaled about 3.9 million ounces, up from 3.3 million ounces a year earlier.

Gold production at the mine during the quarter was 1,360 ounces, compared with 1,200 ounces a year earlier, the company said.

The company's Q2 output also includes 19.1 million pounds of zinc and 12 million pounds of lead, up from last year's 14.8 million pounds and 9.7 million pounds, respectively
