Gayatri Projects is expected to bag orders worth Rs 5,000 crore this fiscal, said TV Sandeep Reddy, MD of the company.

The construction engineering company was declared as the lowest bidder for two packages of Purvanchal Expressway project worth Rs 2,759 crore.

“These are the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects where the UP government will pay for them and we have no BOT (build, operate, transfer) exposure in this. We expect the revenue generation to start from September onwards,” Reddy said.

These are greenfield projects, he said, adding that sometimes there will be better productivity in greenfield projects.
