07:34 AM EDT, 05/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GCM Grosvenor ( GCMG ) , British Columbia Investment Management and Brookfield Renewable Energy Group's acquisition of joint control over Shepherds Flat Wind has been approved by the European Commission, according to a statement Friday.

The Commission said it does not expect the transaction to raise competition concerns given its "limited impact" on the European Economic Area.
