GE Aerospace, Etihad Engineering, Lufthansa Technik Sign Deal to Launch UAE Training Program

04:11 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GE Aerospace (GE) and Etihad Engineering have signed an agreement with Lufthansa Technik Middle East to create an aviation-related maintenance training program for UAE nationals, the companies said Wednesday.

The training program will combine classroom instruction and on-the-job experience to meet technical qualification needs in the UAE aviation workforce.

Developed with Lufthansa Technical Training, the course is tailored to local regulatory and industry requirements and is intended to prepare participants for roles in aircraft maintenance, the companies said.
