01:07 PM EDT, 07/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GE Aerospace (GE) said Monday it has struck a multi-year agreement with China Airlines to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for GE9X engines powering the airline's 14 new Boeing 777X aircraft.

China Airlines has been a GE Aerospace customer since 1999 when it first purchased GE CF6-80C2 powered Boeing 747-400 aircraft, the company said.
