GE Healthcare Technologies to Acquire Intelerad for $2.30 Billion
Nov 20, 2025 3:08 PM

04:43 PM EST, 11/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GE Healthcare Technologies ( GEHC ) said late Thursday it will acquire medical imaging software provider Intelerad for $2.30 billion in an all-cash deal.

The company forecast Intelerad's revenue in the first full year of ownership to be $270 million, and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization margin over 30%, according to a statement.

The transaction is expected to be slightly dilutive to adjusted earnings in the short term, which the company plans to offset with cost efficiencies. It expects a high-single-digit return on invested capital by year five, the company said.

This acquisition showcases the company's commitment to AI-powered services across care settings and advances its goal to triple offerings of cloud-enabled products by 2028, according to the company.
