GE HealthCare to Acquire Intelligent Ultrasound Group's Clinical AI Software Business for $51 Million

04:15 AM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GE HealthCare Technologies ( GEHC ) said Thursday it has agreed to acquire Intelligent Ultrasound Group's clinical artificial intelligence software business for about $51 million.

The company said it intends to integrate the acquired assets across its ultrasound portfolio, enhancing workflow efficiencies and user experience to benefit clinicians and patients.

Financial terms of the transaction, which is anticipated to close in Q4, weren't disclosed.

GE Healthcare ( GEHC ) plans to finance the deal using existing cash reserves.
