GE Vernova to Buy AI Software Firm Alteia

08:16 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GE Vernova ( GEV ) said Monday it agreed to acquire Alteia, a France-based software company focused on AI computer vision and machine learning.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed and the transaction is expected to close on Aug. 1, the company said.

GE Vernova ( GEV ) shares were 1.7% higher in recent premarket activity.
