05:38 PM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gen Digital ( GEN ) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP net income late Wednesday of $0.54 per diluted share, up from $0.47 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.54.

Net revenue in the three months ended Sept. 27 rose to $974 million from $945 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $971.3 million.

The company expects fiscal Q3 EPS of $0.54 to $0.56 on revenue of $980 million to $990 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect EPS of $0.56 on revenue of $979.1 million.

The company projects fiscal 2025 EPS of $2.18 to $2.23 on revenue of $3.91 billion to $3.93 billion. The previous guidance was EPS of $2.17 to $2.23 on revenue of $3.89 billion to 3.93 billion

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect earnings of $2.21 a share on revenue of $3.91 billion.

Gen Digital's ( GEN ) board kept the quarterly dividend at $0.125 a share, payable Dec. 11 to investors of record Nov. 18.
