11:38 AM EDT, 06/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Genasys ( GNSS ) said Tuesday it has received new and follow-on defense orders from the Middle East.

The order is part of a foreign military sales contract to deploy its Long-Range Acoustic Devices systems on shore installations and naval ships. Genasys ( GNSS ) said the combined value of the original award and the follow-on order is more than $2.7 million.

The company's shares were up almost 5% in recent trading.
