01:28 PM EDT, 06/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- General Dynamics' ( GD ) Information Technology business unit said Thursday it was awarded a $580 million task order to continue enhancing security systems for US Army bases.
The company said it will sustain force protection systems globally, including radars, cameras and sensors, and ensure their operational availability under the task order, which has a one-year base period with four option years.
The company will also use its Cove AI Ops Digital Accelerator to provide logistics support, optimize processes, and minimize operating costs, according to a statement.
Shares of General Dynamics ( GD ) were up 2.4% in recent trading Thursday.
