07:29 AM EDT, 03/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- General Mills ( GIS ) reported fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $1 per diluted share, down from $1.17 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.96.
Net sales for the quarter ended Feb. 23 were $4.84 billion, down from $5.10 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $4.96 billion.
The company said it now expects fiscal 2025 adjusted diluted earnings to be down 7% to 8% in constant currency, compared with its prior expectation for adjusted earnings to be down 2% to 4%.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect non-GAAP earnings of $4.36 per share.
General Mills ( GIS ) also said it now expects organic net sales for fiscal 2025 to be down 1.5% to 2%, compared with the lower end of the range anticipated to be flat to up 1%.
Analysts polled by FactSet expect revenue of $19.80 billion.
