06:17 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- General Mills ( GIS ) announced on Tuesday that it plans to remove certified colors from all US cereals and foods served in K-12 schools by summer 2026.
The company will also work to eliminate certified colors from its full US retail portfolio by the end of 2027, it added.
Currently, nearly all of General Mills' ( GIS ) school offerings and 85% of its US retail portfolio are already made without certified colors, the company said.
