General Motors Recalling Over 18,000 Chevrolet, GMC Vehicles Due to Brake Line Issue

07:35 AM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- General Motors ( GM ) is recalling over 18,000 vehicles due to a potential "brake line damage that can lead to a brake fluid leak," the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or NHTSA said.

The recall covers 18,325 units of 2013 to 2019 Chevrolet Express Cutaway and GMC Savana Cutaway models that have an optional GM-provided body mounts, the safety regulator said.

NHTSA said dealers will inspect the recalled vehicles' brake lines and replace them as needed for free.
