06:27 AM EDT, 08/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- General Motors ( GM ) is recalling more than 23,500 Chevrolet Corvette cars in the US due to a potential fuel leak that could lead to fire, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Tuesday.
The issue involves excess fuel spilling during refueling, which could come into contact with hot engine or exhaust parts, the auto safety body said, adding that to fix the problem, dealers will install a shield to redirect any spilled fuel.
The recall covers certain 2023 to 2026 Corvette models with a left-side radiator and fan setup, it added.
