12:50 PM EDT, 10/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- General Motors ( GM ) will not offer tax credits on electric vehicles that were in transit to dealers or on their lots before the September expiry of the $7,500 federal incentive, multiple media outlets reported Wednesday.

The company is offering its own incentive of around $6,000 for lease support, according to Bloomberg.

General Motors ( GM ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
