06:04 PM EDT, 06/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- General Motors ( GM ) said Tuesday it plans to invest about $4 billion in its US manufacturing plants over the next two years to boost production of both gas and electric vehicles.
The investment will support expansions at Orion Assembly in Michigan, Fairfax Assembly in Kansas, and Spring Hill Manufacturing in Tennessee. General Motors ( GM ) said the upgrades will enable it to assemble more than two million vehicles per year in the US.
The automaker also reaffirmed its 2025 capital spending guidance of $10 billion to $11 billion and expects annual capital spending to range between $10 billion and $12 billion through 2027.
