General Motors to Reportedly Halt US Exports to China

07:03 AM EDT, 05/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- General Motors ( GM ) will halt vehicle exports to China, news outlets reported, citing company statements.

The company has informed employees and dealerships linked to its China business that it will stop shipping vehicles to China, Reuters reported.

GM sends vehicles to China from the US via its Durant Guild business which it is now restructuring, according to the reports.

GM did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
