02:31 PM EDT, 10/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Genius Group ( GNS ) said Tuesday it has restructured its board and management team to align with its growth plans in South America, Europe and Asia, naming four new directors and an interim chief financial officer.

The company said it appointed Eduardo Huerta-Mercado Herrera, Ian Putter, Thomas Power and Gary Pattison to the board, replacing four directors due to "conflicts of interest and breaches of fiduciary and statutory duties" to the company.

Genius also said Adrian Reese has resigned as CFO, and it has appointed Senior Finance Manager Gaurav Dama as interim CFO.

Shares of the company were up over 2% in recent trading.
