Genius Sports Swings to Q3 Profit, Revenue Rises; 2024 Revenue Guidance Raised

08:29 AM EST, 11/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Genius Sports ( GENI ) reported Q3 earnings Tuesday of $0.05 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $0.05 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.01.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $120.2 million compared with $101.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $118.9 million.

The company expects group revenue of $176 million for Q4, while analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $175.9 million.

Genius Sports ( GENI ) marginally raised its 2024 group revenue guidance to about $511 million from $510 million. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $510.2 million. The company also said it continues to expect to generate positive cash flow in 2024.

Shares were 9.5% higher in recent premarket activity.
