Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.72.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.18 billion, compared with $1.11 billion a year earlier.

Analysts expected $1.14 billion.

For Q3, the professional services company is projecting revenue of $1.18 billion to $1.19 billion.

Analysts are looking for $1.16 billion.

For 2024, the company is now projecting adjusted EPS of $3.14 to $3.18, up from its prior guidance expecting $3.01 to $3.04, on revenue of $4.66 billion to $4.7 billion.

Analysts are looking for $3.03 and $4.62 billion, respectively.

Genpact ( G ) shares were up almost 4% in after-hours trading.
