GEO Group Gets Five-Year Extension for Adelanto ICE Processing Center Contract

07:18 AM EDT, 10/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GEO Group ( GEO ), (The) (GEO) said Friday that the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has exercised a five-year option to extend its contract for the GEO-owned Adelanto ICE Processing Center in California through Dec. 19, 2029.

The parties entered contract in December 2019 for secure residential housing and care at the 1,940-bed Adelanto Center, the company said. The contract consists of a five-year base period followed by two five-year option periods.
