08:14 AM EDT, 06/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GEO Group Inc ( GEO ) said Monday that the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has activated a federal immigration processing center at the company's 1,868-bed D. Ray James Facility in Folkston, Georgia, effective June 6.
The activation was made through a contract modification under the company's existing intergovernmental service agreement, which includes its 1,118-bed Folkston ICE Processing Center, the company said.
GEO said it expects to generate $66 million in incremental annualized revenues during the first full year of operations under the modified agreement.
The company's shares increased by more than 3% in recent premarket activity on Monday.
