01:35 PM EDT, 08/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr said Friday on X his office is launching investigations into Roblox ( RBLX ) and social media platforms over child safety concerns.

"Roblox ( RBLX ) is a playground for predators, and social media platforms aren't any better," Carr said on X. "Big tech refuses to step up and do the right thing. That's why we're launching investigations & working closely with the Georgia House to keep kids safe online."

Roblox ( RBLX ) didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
