German battery maker Varta reaches restructuring deal to cut debt

Aug 17 (Reuters) - German battery maker Varta ( VARGF )

said on Saturday it had reached a restructuring agreement with

its creditors that would reduce its existing financial

liabilities from 485 million euros to 200 million euros ($534.86

million to $220.56 million).

($1 = 0.9068 euros)
