Geron CEO John Scarlett to Depart; Dawn Carter Bir Named in Interim

04:34 PM EDT, 03/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Geron ( GERN ) said John Scarlett, the chairman and chief executive officer, will exit on March 31.

Board member Dawn Carter Bir was named interim CEO, effective immediately, and Elizabeth O'Farrell was appointed chair of the board, the company said Tuesday in a statement.

A search for a new CEO is underway, the company said.
