12:24 PM EDT, 03/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Getty Images ( GETY ) said Wednesday it launched an enhanced search feature powered by artificial intelligence and machine-learning models.

The new feature on both Getty Images ( GETY ) and iStock's platforms allows users to search images using natural and descriptive phrases instead of exact matching keywords.

Enhanced search is enabled automatically on creative searches, Getty said.

The company's shares rose 13% in recent trading Wednesday.
