GFG Resources Receives $200,000 Grant From Ontario Junior Exploration Program

09:11 AM EDT, 07/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GFG Resources ( GFGSF ) on Wednesday said it received $200,000 in funding from the Ontario Junior Exploration Program (OJEP) in support of its 2025 exploration activities at its projects located in the Timmins Gold District of Ontario.

GFG received the amount in matching funds to offset eligible exploration expenditures.

"This funding strengthens our ability to advance exploration programs and supports our goal of discovering new mineral deposits in underexplored areas of the Timmins Gold District," said GFG Chief Executive Brian Skanderbeg.

Shares of the company closed up 2.9% to $0.18 on Tuesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
