GigCapital8 Raises $253 Million in IPO

05:59 PM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GigCapital8 ( GIWWU ) closed its initial public offering of 25.3 million units at $10 apiece, generating gross proceeds of $253 million, including the full exercise of the underwriters' overallotment option.

The units started trading Monday on Nasdaq under the symbol GIWWU. Class A shares are expected to debut in due course with the ticker GIW, the company said Tuesday in a statement.
