07:54 AM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Gilat Satellite Networks ( GILT ) said Monday that its Gilat Defense division was awarded a $23 million contract to provide sustainment and support services for satellite transportable terminal units deployed globally for US Department of Defense customers.

Gilat Defense will provide critical program management, field services, and technical support to ensure operational readiness and continued reliability of these communication assets, the company said.

The contract includes a base program with options to extend up to five years, Gilat said.
