10:14 AM EDT, 06/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Gilat Satellite Networks ( GILT ) said Tuesday it secured a $40 million contract for its SkyEdge IV platform.

The virtualized system, built with a cloud-native architecture, is expected to be delivered over the next 24 months.

Designed to support future 5G non-terrestrial network standards, the platform aims to help satellite operators and service providers meet growing connectivity demands.

Shares of Gilat Satellite Networks ( GILT ) were up more than 7% in recent trading.
