Gilat Satellite Networks' DataPath Gets Department of Defense Contracts for Satellite Services

11:14 AM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gilat Satellite Networks ( GILT ) said Monday that its DataPath unit received contracts worth over $5 million in support of the US Department of Defense.

The contracts cover core terminal-related services, technology insertion and upgrades to systems, according to the company.

DataPath is responsible for sustainment and technical upgrades to multiple satellite transportable terminal units and upgrades to existing satellite communications equipment, Gilat added.

Shares of the company rose 3.4% in recent trading.
