08:06 AM EDT, 08/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Gilat Satellite Networks ( GILT ) said Tuesday that its Gilat Defense unit won a multimillion dollar contract from Israel's Ministry of Defense to deliver and integrate satellite communication systems and services.

The contract involves the rapid deployment of advanced SATCOM systems designed for harsh environments and tailored to the ministry's operational requirements, the company said.

The company said deliveries are expected before the end of this year.

Shares of Gilat Satellite Networks ( GILT ) were up 0.2% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
