08:16 AM EDT, 07/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gilat Satellite Networks ( GILT ) said Tuesday that its DataPath unit was awarded a multi-year contract worth more than $5 million from a National Defense organization to upgrade its transportable satellite communications network hubs.

DataPath's DKET terminals, which provide communications in remote areas, will be upgraded to meet the high-performance demands of defense operations, Gilat said.
