07:23 AM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gilat Satellite Networks ( GILT ) said Monday that it secured a "multi-million" contract extension to continue providing services to a satellite operator in the Asia Pacific region for another 12 months.

The company did not name the customer but said it will continue to manage and maintain the operator's satellite communications infrastructure under the contract extension.

Gilat shares were 2% higher in premarket trading.
