04:14 AM EST, 11/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gilead Sciences ( GILD ) said late Wednesday it priced $3.5 billion of its senior unsecured notes in an underwritten registered public offering.

The offering consists of $750 million of 4.8% senior notes maturing in 2029; $1 billion of 5.1% senior notes maturing in 2035; $1 billion of 5.5% senior notes maturing in 2054, and $750 million of 5.6% senior notes maturing in 2064.

The company said it plans to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include repayment of debt.

The offering is set to close Nov. 20.
