09:43 AM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gilead Sciences ( GILD ) said Monday the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust law expired on Friday for its cash offer to acquire CymaBay Therapeutics.

CymaBay Therapeutics shareholders have until late March 21 to offer Gilead a majority of outstanding shares, Gilead said.
