12:51 PM EDT, 03/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ginkgo Bioworks ( DNA ) is collaborating with ProteoNic Biosciences through a new strategic partnership that will provide Ginkgo customers with access to the Dutch biotech's protein production platform and other cell and gene therapy applications, the companies said Wednesday.

As part of the partnership, ProteoNic will join Ginkgo's technology network bringing together companies working on artificial intelligence, manufacturing, genetic medicines and biologics technologies to collaborate on new research and development projects, the companies said.

Financial terms and other details of the partnership were not disclosed.
