07:52 AM EDT, 07/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ginkgo Bioworks ( DNA ) said Tuesday it has entered into a collaboration agreement with Syngenta Crop Protection for the launch of new biologicals.

The partnership envisages for Ginkgo to develop and optimize a microbial strait that would meet the productivity targets of Syngenta's secondary metabolite.

Syngenta expects the collaboration would significantly shorten the go-to-market timeline for its new biologicals.
