04:46 PM EDT, 06/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Global Ship Lease ( GSL ) has entered into contracts to build 10 new mid-size containerships for about $917 million, the company said late Thursday.

Deliveries are planned between Q4 of 2028 and Q1 of 2030, the company said.

The ships will be operated under multiyear charter agreements following delivery and are expected to generate adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of roughly $665 million over the charter periods, the company added.
