09:01 AM EDT, 07/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Global Water Resources ( GWRS ) said Wednesday it has completed the acquisition of seven water systems from Tucson Water.

The assets were acquired for about 1.05 times the current rate base of roughly $7.7 million and are expected to contribute annual revenue of about $1.5 million, the company said.

Global Water said the acquisition added about 2,200 water service connections and brought its total number of customers in Pima County to about 7,200.

Shares of the company were up 2% in recent premarket activity.
