10:59 AM EDT, 03/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- GlobalFoundries ( GFS ) said Thursday it filed lawsuits against Tower Semiconductor ( TSEM ) , alleging the latter infringed 11 of its US patents.

The lawsuits, filed with the US District Court for the Western District of Texas and the US International Trade Commission, claim that Tower allegedly engaged in unlicensed exploitation of GlobalFoundries' ( GFS ) technologies vital to smartphone, automotive, aerospace and communications infrastructure.

GlobalFoundries ( GFS ) is seeking compensation for any lost earnings and injunctive relief to half Tower's importation and sale of the allegedly infringing products in the US.

Tower did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
