09:14 AM EDT, 04/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GlobalFoundries ( GFS ) said Monday it plans to attain net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and be 100% carbon-neutral power by 2050.

To achieve its benchmarks in accordance with the Paris Agreement goals, the company will deploy new controls on current sites, continue the use of emissions controls when increasing its production footprint and expand the utilization of alternative chemistries, the company said.
