11:43 AM EST, 12/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Globalstar ( GSAT ) said Wednesday it is collaborating with Hawk Networks to improve and simplify access to Globalstar's ( GSAT ) Band 53 satellite spectrum by network operators.

The companies said customers can now easily and quickly lease space on the Citizens Broadband Radio Service Band spectrum, connecting into Globalstar's ( GSAT ) 48 and 53 bands using Hawk Networks' Althea platform.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed. Globalstar ( GSAT ) and Hawk Networks in October disclosed plans to work together on expanding CBRS access.

Shares of Globalstar ( GSAT ) were up more than 2% in recent trading activity Wednesday.
