09:50 AM EDT, 07/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Globalstar ( GSAT ) said Monday it has signed an agreement with SpaceX for a Falcon 9 launch for the next set of satellites possibly next year.

The satellites, which are under construction by Macdonald, Dettwiler and Associates, will provide continuous services combined with existing second-generation satellites that are in operation, Globalstar ( GSAT ) said.

The satellites have been cleared by the Federal Communications Commission to operate under Globalstar's ( GSAT ) HIBLEO-4 filing for a renewed 15-year period, the company said.

Globalstar ( GSAT ) shares were rising more than 2% in recent trading.
