Globe Life Q3 Net Operating Income, Revenue Rise; 2024 Profit Guidance Boosted; Shares Gain After Hours

05:28 PM EDT, 10/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Globe Life ( GL ) reported Q3 net operating income late Wednesday of $3.49 per diluted share, up from $2.71 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.06.

Revenue in the three months ended Sept. 30 rose to $1.46 billion from $1.38 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.46 billion.

The company boosted 2024 net operating income guidance to $12.20 to $12.40 a share from $11.80 to $12.10. Analysts polled by Capital IQ project $11.94 normalized.

The company expects 2025 net operating income of $13.20 to $13.90 a share. Analysts expect $13.25 normalized.

Shares of Globe Life ( GL ) rose 7.3% in after-hours activity.
