Globex Lower, But Still Near 52 Week Highs As Receives Cash Option Renewal Payment for Duquesne West Project in Quebec
Dec 24, 2024 7:56 AM

10:30 AM EST, 12/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Globex Mining Enterprises ( GLBXF ) was at last look slightly lower, but still near 52 week highs on Tuesday after saying that Emperor Metals ( EMAUF ) has paid Duparquet Assets the second-year $500,000 cash payment under an option agreement over the Duquesne West property in Quebec.

According to Globex, the share payment portion of the second anniversary option payment will be made based upon the 20-day volume-weighted average portion before the anniversary date, which will be in January 2025.

Emperor said it has been undertaking "extensive" drilling and assaying of new and historical drill core in order to outline a potential open-pittable resource on Duquesne West.

Globex owns 50% of Duparquet Assets while Jack Stoch Geoconsultants owns the rest.
