01:46 PM EDT, 08/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- General Motors ( GM ) is trying to bring back some employees who worked on its now-defunct Cruise autonomous vehicle project, as it looks to make another push into the driverless car space, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Unlike with Cruise, the new project would focus on driverless vehicles for personal use, the people reportedly told Bloomberg.

General Motors ( GM ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
