GM Ventures and Forge Nano also signed a partnership agreement under which the companies will potentially use Forge Nano's Atomic Armor equipment to coat cathode active materials for the automaker's EV battery cells, increasing their performance and lifetime.
Forge Nano said it plans to develop thin-film coatings for General Motors' ( GM ) cathode active materials and develop prototype lithium-ion battery cells.
