08:20 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Gogo ( GOGO ) said Wednesday that GCT Semiconductor Holding ( GCTS ) has completed the first end-to-end call using its next-gen 5G chip last Monday, confirming the technology's readiness for final integration.

Gogo ( GOGO ) said that after completing the first end-to-end call, it would begin shipping its 5G solution to its maintenance and repair network for aircraft installation.

Gogo ( GOGO ) said that its 5G ATG system, which is specifically designed for business aviation users, will deliver faster, more reliable broadband for video calls, streaming, and multi-device use.

More than 300 aircraft have already been pre-provisioned, with installation times of two weeks or less for aircraft equipped with the compact AVANCE LX5 unit, Gogo ( GOGO ) said.

Shares of GCT Semiconductor ( GCTS ) were up 5.5% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
